SHAKTHIDHAMA VIDYASHALA

Shakthidhama Vidyashala is the result of the dreams and aspirations of the members of the Board to provide premium-quality education, based on the principles of Experiential Learning, to girl children belonging to socially and financially disadvantaged backgrounds.

It was inaugurated by the Hon’ble President, Shakthidhama, Smt. Geetha ShivaRajkumar on 16th May 2022, by ringing the first bell of the school. This heralded a new chapter in Shakthidhama, with it now actively imparting education by establishing a school on its own premises whereas hitherto it was only facilitating girl children's education.

With a total of 126 students, 81 of whom are already residing at Shaktidhama, the opportunity to gain good-quality education was offered to 45 socio-economically disadvantaged girl children residing in 5 areas in close proximity to Shakthidhama - Gaurishankar Nagar, Datta Nagar, Sewage Farm Colony, Kanaka Giri and Pinjrapole. These children were admitted through a door to door enrollment drive and are day scholars at Shaktidhama Vidyashala.

After a very meticulous process of selection of teachers, by conducting an entrance exam, live demo classes and interviews by the Board, 11 teachers joined the Shakthidhama Vidyashala family as pioneers who were entrusted with the responsibility of melding education and empathy, to empower girl children by turning every experience into one of learning.
